It seems fitting. Not sure why, it just is.

Fat Bastard took a few hours to complete, all said and done, it's also the most green stuff I've ever used.

I'm quite pleased with the way he turned out. The arms are pieced together from several parts and the pipes are made from the Ogre banner sticks. He's a pretty solid model and should stand up to the pressures of intense table top gaming. Time will tell.

Opinions are welcome, though I reserve the right to not like them!

PICTURES!!!!

Laying Down Some Pipe(r)

First blog,

I should feel something, yet I don't.

Most say it's over to fast. We shall see.

I got this idea of modding my Ogre Kingdom army more than a year and a half ago.

It's been slow going as I have found better things to do (nothing) or life has gotten in the way (video games).

So, instead of starting at the beginning, I am starting in the middle.

Cool, innit!

What I’ve done here is begin the modeling process by refitting the arm on the Ogre. I’ve utilized a Leadbelcher’s left and right arm and the hand of a Bellower.

The difficulty here is making the bagpipes look right with the arms and since Games Workshop has not accommodated my needs, improvisation is required.

Here you can get a close up view of the back. Loads of work is still needed, but the basics are down.

I intend on polishing up the muscles on the next go round.

Finally, you’re probably wondering what I plan on using for Pipes.

If you can’t figure out where these are from, you don’t play and you shouldn’t be reading this blog.

Go Away.

Well, that’s it. Over so quickly, but you’re satisfied.

Right?
